Dr. Antonio G Hill has been the heart of Warren County for decades. Dr Hill transitioned after a largely private battle with cancer shortly after the start of the 2019-2020 school year. After graduating with the Warren County class of 1990 he went on to Valdosta State University where he earned a degree in communications. He returned to his alma mater Warren County High School to begin a teaching career at the school that he loved. Dr. Hill would hold various positions in the athletic department, became the head coach, the assistant principal of Warren County High School later to hold the position of principal of Mildred E Freeman Elementary School.

Dr. Hill would further his education obtaining a masters and specialist degree from Cambridge College later receiving a doctoral degree from South Carolina State University and became the Assistant Superintendent of Warren County Schools.

In January of 2020 Warren County Schools honored Dr. Hill by dedicating and naming the school’s gymnasium the Dr. Antonio G Hill Gymnasium.

In honor of Dr. Antonio G. Hill, a sound pillar of the community of Warren County his family is offering a scholarship in his honor . As a strong believer of the community of Warrenton we as a family would like to continue his legacy within Warren County and extend the students there an opportunity to apply for a scholarship in his honor.
